Afghani Chicken
Ingredients:
- 1 kg Chicken (thigh/drumstick)
- 1/2 cup Yogurt
- Fresh herbs: Coriander and Mint leaves
- Spices: Garam masala, Chaat masala, Black pepper
- 4-6 Green chilies
- Ginger and Garlic
- Fresh cream
- Ghee/Oil for cooking
Marination Process:
1. Prepare a green masala paste with coriander, mint, green chilies, ginger, garlic, and onions.
2. Mix the paste with yogurt, cream, and spices like garam masala, cumin powder, and kasuri methi.
3. Marinate chicken pieces in this mixture for 30 minutes.
Cooking Method:
1. Heat ghee in a pan.
2. Roast marinated chicken until golden.
3. Add prepared curd mixture.
4. Cook on low heat with water until chicken is tender.
5. Garnish with fresh coriander and ginger julienne.
6. Serve hot with naan or rice for a delicious meal!
