Apple, Cheese, and Nut Grilled Cheese

Ingredients:

-2 slices of bread
-2 slices of cheese
-1 apple, thinly sliced
-1/4 teaspoon of freshly ground black pepper
-2 tablespoons of chopped nuts (almonds, walnuts, or pecans work well)

Instructions:

1. Preheat a skillet or griddle over medium heat.

2. Place one slice of cheese on one slice of bread.

3. Top with the apple slices and sprinkle with pepper.

4. Sprinkle the chopped nuts over the apple slices.

5. Top with the second slice of cheese and the other slice of bread.

6. Place the sandwich on the preheated skillet and cook for 3-4 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and the bread is golden brown.

7. Flip the sandwich and cook for an additional 3-4 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and the bread is golden brown.

8. Serve warm. Enjoy!
