Arroz con Pollo
Ingredients:
- 1 lb. of chicken, cut into cubes
- 1 onion, diced
- 1 cup of tomato sauce
- 2 cups of long-grain white rice
- 2 cups of water
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions:
1. Heat a large skillet over medium heat. Add the chicken cubes and cook until lightly browned, about 5 minutes.
2. Add the diced onion and cook until softened, about 3 minutes.
3. Add the tomato sauce and stir to combine.
4. Add the rice and stir to combine.
5. Add the water and season with salt and pepper.
6. Bring to a boil, reduce the heat to low, cover and simmer for 20 minutes.
7. Remove from the heat and let stand for 5 minutes before serving. Enjoy!
