Make Arroz de Frango com Queijo
Recipe Name: Arroz de Frango com Queijo
Ingredients:
- 1 cup of arroz (rice)
- 1 chicken breast, diced
- 1 cup of queijo (cheese), shredded
- 1 tomato, diced
- 1/2 onion, chopped
- 2 cups of water
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions:
1. In a large pan, heat some oil over medium heat and sauté the chopped onion until translucent.
2. Add the diced chicken breast to the pan and cook until browned on all sides.
3. Stir in the diced tomato and cook for a few minutes until it starts to soften.
4. Add the arroz (rice) to the pan and stir to combine with the other ingredients.
5. Pour in the water and season with salt and pepper. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat to low, cover, and let simmer for about 20 minutes or until the rice is cooked and the liquid is absorbed.
6. Once the rice is cooked, sprinkle the shredded queijo (cheese) on top and cover the pan for a few minutes to allow the cheese to melt.
