Oatmeal Banana Honey Bowl
Ingredients:
-1 cup rolled oats
-1 ripe banana
-2 tablespoons honey
-1 cup milk (or plant-based milk alternative)
-1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
-1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
-Optional: 1/4 cup chopped nuts or dried fruit
Instructions:
1. In a medium saucepan, bring the milk to a simmer over medium heat.
2. Add the oats and reduce the heat to low. Cook, stirring occasionally, for 5 minutes.
3. Mash the banana in a small bowl and add it to the oatmeal. Stir to combine.
4. Add the honey, cinnamon, and nutmeg. Stir to combine.
5. Cook for an additional 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
6. Remove from heat and let cool for a few minutes.
7. Serve the oatmeal in a bowl and top with the chopped nuts or dried fruit, if desired. Enjoy!
