Bavarian Kubbeh Hamusta

Ingredients:

-1 lb ground beef

-1/2 cup uncooked bulgur wheat

-1/4 cup minced onion

-1/4 cup minced parsley

-1/4 cup minced fresh dill

-1 teaspoon ground cumin

-1 teaspoon ground coriander

-1 teaspoon paprika

-1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper

-1/4 teaspoon ground allspice

-1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon

-1/4 teaspoon ground cardamom

-1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg

-1/4 teaspoon ground cloves

-1/2 cup chicken broth

-1/2 cup plain Greek yogurt

-1/4 cup olive oil

-1/4 cup lemon juice

-1/4 cup chopped fresh mint

-Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions:

1. In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, bulgur wheat, onion, parsley, dill, cumin, coriander, paprika, black pepper, allspice, cinnamon, cardamom, nutmeg, and cloves. Mix until all ingredients are evenly distributed.

2. Form the mixture into small balls, about 1 inch in diameter.

3. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the kubbeh balls and cook for about 5 minutes, or until golden brown.

4. Add the chicken broth and bring to a simmer. Simmer for about 10 minutes, or until the kubbeh are cooked through.

5. In a small bowl, combine the Greek yogurt, lemon juice, and mint. Mix until combined.

6. Add the yogurt mixture to the skillet and stir to combine. Simmer for an additional 5 minutes.

7. Serve the Bavarian kubbeh hamusta with a sprinkle of salt and pepper, if desired. Enjoy!
