Make Bean and Bacon Pasta
Bean and Bacon Pasta
Ingredients:
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 2 strips bacon, diced
- 1 small onion, diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 2 cups chicken stock
- 1 cup cooked beans
- 1/2 cup uncooked pasta
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions:
1. In a large saucepan over medium heat, melt the butter.
2. Add the bacon and onion and cook until the bacon is crisp and the onion is softened, about 5 minutes.
3. Add the garlic and garlic powder and cook for another minute.
4. Add the chicken stock and bring to a boil.
5. Add the beans and pasta and reduce the heat to low.
6. Simmer for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the pasta is cooked through.
7. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
8. Serve hot. Enjoy!
