Make Beef and Cheese Stuffed Bell Peppers

Recipe Name: Beef and Cheese Stuffed Bell Peppers

Ingredients:
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 cup tomato sauce
- 1 cup shredded cheese
- 4 bell peppers
- 1/2 cup chopped lettuce
- 1/2 cup chopped onion

Instructions:
1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
2. Cut the tops off the bell peppers and remove the seeds and membranes.
3. In a skillet, cook the ground beef over medium heat until browned. Drain any excess fat.
4. Add the chopped onion to the skillet and cook until softened.
5. Stir in the tomato sauce and let it simmer for a few minutes.
6. Remove the skillet from heat and stir in half of the shredded cheese.
7. Stuff each bell pepper with the beef and cheese mixture.
8. Place the stuffed bell peppers in a baking dish and cover with foil.
9. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the peppers are tender.
10. Remove the foil, sprinkle the remaining cheese on top of the peppers, and bake for an additional 5 minutes until the cheese is melted.
11. Serve the stuffed bell peppers hot, garnished with chopped lettuce. Enjoy!
