Stuffed Bell Peppers

Ingredients:

-1 pound ground chicken
-2 bell peppers, halved and seeded
-1 onion, diced
-1 teaspoon garlic powder
-1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
-1/2 teaspoon salt
-1/4 teaspoon black pepper
-1/2 cup cooked rice
-1/4 cup shredded cheese
-1/4 cup tomato sauce

Instructions:

1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.

2. In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the ground chicken until it is no longer pink.

3. Add the diced onion and garlic powder and cook until the onion is soft.

4. Add the Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper and mix together.

5. Add the cooked rice and mix together.

6. Place the bell pepper halves in a greased baking dish.

7. Fill each bell pepper half with the ground chicken mixture.

8. Top each bell pepper with the shredded cheese.

9. Pour the tomato sauce over the bell peppers.

10. Bake in preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the bell peppers are tender.

11. Serve and enjoy!
