Make Bison and Chicken Rice Bowls
Bison and Chicken Rice Bowls
Ingredients:
1 lb. bison, cut into cubes
1 lb. chicken, cut into cubes
2 cups cooked white rice
2 tablespoons cooking oil
1 green pepper, diced
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon chili powder
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon pepper
1/2 cup tomato sauce
4 slices of bread, toasted
Instructions:
1. Heat the cooking oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
2. Add the bison and chicken cubes and cook until browned, about 5 minutes.
3. Add the green pepper, salt, chili powder, garlic powder, and pepper and cook for an additional 3 minutes.
4. Add the tomato sauce and stir to combine.
5. Reduce the heat to low and simmer for 10 minutes.
6. Meanwhile, toast the bread slices.
7. Divide the cooked rice among four bowls.
8. Top each bowl with the bison and chicken mixture.
9. Serve with the toasted bread slices. Enjoy!
