Make Brazilian Garlic Rice
Recipe Name: Brazilian Garlic Rice
Ingredients:
- 2 cups of rice
- 4 cloves of garlic, minced
- 1 cup of queijo (Brazilian cheese), grated
- 1 teaspoon of black pepper
- Salt to taste
- 4 cups of water
Instructions:
1. In a large pot, heat some oil over medium heat.
2. Add the minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 1-2 minutes.
3. Add the rice to the pot and stir to coat the rice with the garlic-infused oil.
4. Pour in the water and season with salt and black pepper. Stir well.
5. Bring the mixture to a boil, then reduce the heat to low, cover the pot, and let it simmer for about 18-20 minutes, or until the rice is cooked and the water is absorbed.
6. Once the rice is cooked, fluff it with a fork and stir in the grated queijo until melted and well combined.
7. Serve the Brazilian Garlic Rice hot as a delicious side dish. Enjoy!
