Butter Chicken
Ingredients:
- 2 lbs of boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into cubes
- 2 tablespoons of butter
- 1 teaspoon of salt
- 2 cloves of garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon of ground cumin
- 1 teaspoon of garam masala
- 1 teaspoon of ground coriander
- 1 teaspoon of paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon of ground turmeric
- 1/2 teaspoon of ground ginger
- 1/2 cup of plain yogurt
- 1/2 cup of heavy cream
- 2 tablespoons of freshly chopped cilantro
Instructions:
1. In a large skillet over medium-high heat, melt the butter.
2. Add the chicken cubes and season with salt. Cook for about 8 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the chicken is cooked through.
3. Add the garlic, cumin, garam masala, coriander, paprika, turmeric, and ginger. Stir to combine and cook for another minute.
4. Add the yogurt and cream and stir to combine. Reduce the heat to low and simmer for about 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
5. Add the cilantro and stir to combine. Simmer for another 5 minutes.
6. Serve over rice or with naan. Enjoy!
