Buttermilk Fried Chicken

Ingredients:

-4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
-2 cups buttermilk
-1 cup all-purpose flour
-1 teaspoon garlic powder
-1 teaspoon onion powder
-1 teaspoon paprika
-1 teaspoon salt
-1/2 teaspoon black pepper
-1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper
-1/4 cup vegetable oil

Instructions:

1. Place the chicken breasts in a large bowl and pour the buttermilk over them. Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour.

2. In a shallow dish, mix together the flour, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, black pepper, and cayenne pepper.

3. Heat the oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.

4. Remove the chicken from the buttermilk and dredge each piece in the flour mixture, shaking off any excess.

5. Place the chicken in the hot oil and cook for 4-5 minutes per side, or until the chicken is golden brown and cooked through.

6. Remove the chicken from the skillet and let it rest for 5 minutes before serving. Enjoy!
