Buttery French Toast
Ingredients:
-2 slices of bread
-2 tablespoons of butter
-2 tablespoons of sugar
-1/4 teaspoon of salt
-1 egg
-2 tablespoons of vegetable oil
Instructions:
1. In a shallow bowl, whisk together the egg, sugar, and salt.
2. Heat the vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
3. Spread the butter on one side of each slice of bread.
4. Dip the buttered side of each slice of bread into the egg mixture, coating both sides.
5. Place the slices of bread in the skillet and cook for 2-3 minutes on each side, or until golden brown.
6. Serve hot with your favorite toppings. Enjoy!
