- 2 cups of cooked rice (arroz)
- 2 cloves of garlic (alho), minced
- 1 teaspoon of salt (sal)
- 1/2 cup of all-purpose flour (farinha de trigo)
- 1/2 cup of diced calabresa sausage
- 2 tablespoons of butter (manteiga)
- 1/4 cup of milk (leite)
- 1 cup of shredded cheese (of your choice)
Instructions:
1. In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooked rice, minced garlic, and salt. Mix well to incorporate the flavors.
2. Take a small portion of the rice mixture and flatten it in your palm. Place a small amount of diced calabresa sausage and shredded cheese in the center.
3. Carefully shape the rice mixture into a ball, ensuring that the filling is completely enclosed.
4. In a separate bowl, mix the flour and milk to create a batter.
5. Dip each rice ball into the batter, ensuring it is fully coated.
6. In a pan, melt the butter over medium heat. Place the coated rice balls in the pan and cook until golden brown on all sides.
