Make Caqui Rapadura French Toast

Ingredients:
- 2 ripe caquis, peeled and sliced
- 1/2 cup açúcar (sugar)
- 1/2 cup água (water)
- 1 cup farinha (flour)
- Pinch of sal (salt)
- 1/4 cup rapadura, grated
- 4 slices of pão francês (French bread)
Instructions:
1. In a saucepan, combine the sliced caqui, sugar, and water. Cook over medium heat until the caqui is soft and the mixture thickens slightly. Remove from heat and set aside.
2. In a shallow dish, mix the flour and salt together.
3. Dip each slice of French bread into the caqui mixture, then coat it in the flour mixture.
4. Heat a skillet over medium heat and add a little oil or butter.
5. Place the coated bread slices in the skillet and cook until golden brown on both sides.
6. Serve the French toast topped with grated rapadura and any remaining caqui mixture.
