Make Caramel Shortbread

Caramel Shortbread

Ingredients:

- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup butter, softened
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup condensed milk

Instructions:

1. Preheat oven to 350°F.

2. In a medium bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy.

3. Gradually add the flour, stirring until a dough forms.

4. Press the dough into an ungreased 8-inch square baking pan.

5. Bake for 20 minutes, or until lightly golden.

6. Meanwhile, in a small saucepan, heat the condensed milk over medium heat until it is hot and bubbly.

7. Remove the shortbread from the oven and pour the condensed milk over the top.

8. Return to the oven and bake for an additional 10 minutes, or until the top is golden brown.

9. Allow to cool before cutting into bars. Enjoy!
