Recipe Name: Caramelized Onion Jam

Ingredients:
- 3 large onions, thinly sliced
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 2 cloves of garlic, minced
- 1/2 cup water

Instructions:
1. Heat a large skillet over medium heat and add a drizzle of olive oil.
2. Add the sliced onions and cook, stirring occasionally, until they start to soften and caramelize, about 15-20 minutes.
3. Sprinkle the sugar over the onions and continue to cook, stirring frequently, until the onions are deep golden brown and caramelized, about 10-15 minutes.
4. Add the minced garlic and cook for another minute until fragrant.
5. Pour in the water and stir to combine, scraping up any browned bits from the bottom of the pan.
6. Reduce the heat to low and let the mixture simmer gently for about 10-15 minutes, until it reaches a jam-like consistency.
7. Remove from heat and let cool before transferring to a jar or container.
8. Enjoy your delicious caramelized onion jam on toast, sandwiches, burgers, or as a condiment with your favorite dishes.
