Carrot Cake

Ingredients:

- 2 cups of all-purpose flour
- 1 cup of sugar
- 1 teaspoon of salt
- 1 teaspoon of baking soda
- 1 teaspoon of ground cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon of ground nutmeg
- 2 large eggs
- 1/2 cup of vegetable oil
- 1 cup of grated carrot

Instructions:

1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 9-inch round cake pan.

2. In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, salt, baking soda, cinnamon, and nutmeg.

3. In a separate bowl, beat the eggs and oil together until combined.

4. Add the egg mixture to the dry ingredients and mix until just combined.

5. Fold in the grated carrot.

6. Pour the batter into the prepared cake pan.

7. Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center of the cake comes out clean.

8. Allow the cake to cool in the pan for 10 minutes before turning out onto a wire rack to cool completely.
