Cheesy Beef and Bean Skillet
Ingredients:
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 (15-ounce) can black beans, drained and rinsed
- 1 (6-ounce) can tomato paste
- 1 cup water
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon chili powder
- 1 teaspoon cumin
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
Instructions:
1. In a large skillet over medium-high heat, cook the ground beef until no longer pink. Drain any excess fat.
2. Add the black beans, tomato paste, water, garlic powder, onion powder, chili powder, cumin, salt, and pepper. Stir to combine.
3. Bring the mixture to a boil, then reduce the heat to low and simmer for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
4. Sprinkle the cheese over the top of the skillet and cover. Cook for an additional 5 minutes, or until the cheese is melted.
5. Serve warm. Enjoy!
