Ingredients:
- 1 lb ground beef
- 8 oz pasta (such as penne or rotini)
- 1 cup shredded cheese (such as mozzarella or cheddar)
- 1 24 oz jar of tomato sauce
- 1 onion, diced
- 2 cloves of garlic, minced
Instructions:
1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
2. In a large skillet, cook the ground beef over medium heat until browned. Remove any excess fat.
3. Add the diced onions and minced garlic to the skillet with the ground beef. Cook until the onions are translucent.
4. Stir in the tomato sauce and let the mixture simmer for about 5 minutes.
5. Meanwhile, cook the pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain the pasta.
6. In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooked pasta with the beef and tomato sauce mixture. Mix well.
7. Transfer the pasta mixture to a baking dish and sprinkle the shredded cheese on top.
8. Cover the baking dish with foil and bake in the preheated oven for 20 minutes.
9. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 10 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
