Make Cheesy Broccoli Pasta

Cheesy Broccoli Pasta

Ingredients:

-1 head of broccoli, cut into florets
-1 pound of pasta
-1/2 cup of butter
-1/2 cup of all-purpose flour
-3 cups of milk
-1 teaspoon of garlic powder
-1 teaspoon of onion powder
-1 teaspoon of salt
-1/2 teaspoon of black pepper
-2 cups of shredded cheese (cheddar, mozzarella, or a combination of both)

Instructions:

1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the pasta and cook until al dente.

2. While the pasta is cooking, melt the butter in a large saucepan over medium heat. Add the flour and whisk until combined. Cook for 1-2 minutes, stirring constantly.

3. Gradually add the milk, whisking constantly until the sauce is smooth. Add the garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Simmer for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.

4. Add the broccoli to the boiling pasta and cook for 3-4 minutes. Drain the pasta and broccoli and return to the pot.

5. Pour the cheese sauce over the pasta and broccoli and stir until combined.

6. Transfer the cheesy broccoli pasta to a 9x13 inch baking dish. Sprinkle with the shredded cheese.

7. Bake at 350 degrees F for 20-25 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly. Enjoy!
