Make Cheesy Chicken and Rice Casserole
Recipe Name: Cheesy Chicken and Rice Casserole
Ingredients:
- 1 cup of rice
- 1 lb of chicken, diced
- 2 eggs
- 1 cup of grated cheese
- 1 onion, chopped
- 1 bell pepper, diced
- 1 cup of pasta
- Salt to taste
- 1 tomato, diced
- 2 cloves of garlic, minced
Instructions:
1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (180°C).
2. Cook the rice according to package instructions and set aside.
3. In a large skillet, cook the diced chicken until browned and cooked through. Remove from the skillet and set aside.
4. In the same skillet, sauté the chopped onion, bell pepper, and minced garlic until softened.
5. Add the cooked rice, pasta, diced tomato, and cooked chicken to the skillet. Mix well.
6. In a small bowl, beat the eggs and pour over the rice and chicken mixture. Stir to combine.
7. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
8. Transfer the mixture to a baking dish and sprinkle the grated cheese on top.
9. Cover the baking dish with foil and bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
