Make Cheesy Chicken and Rice Casserole
Recipe Name: Cheesy Chicken and Rice Casserole
Ingredients:
- 1 cup of rice
- 1 lb of chicken breast, diced
- 1 cup of shredded cheese
- 1 bell pepper, diced
- 1 onion, diced
- 2 cloves of garlic, minced
- 1 tomato, diced
- Salt to taste
- 1 cup of pasta
Instructions:
1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
2. Cook the rice according to package instructions and set aside.
3. In a large skillet, cook the diced chicken until browned and cooked through. Season with salt and set aside.
4. In the same skillet, sauté the bell pepper, onion, garlic, and tomato until softened.
5. Add the cooked rice and chicken to the skillet and mix well.
6. Cook the pasta according to package instructions and add it to the skillet mixture.
7. Transfer the mixture to a baking dish and top with shredded cheese.
8. Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
