Make Cheesy Chicken and Rice Casserole
Recipe Name: Cheesy Chicken and Rice Casserole
Ingredients:
- 2 cloves of garlic, minced
- 1 cup of rice
- 1 cup of cooked chicken, shredded
- 2 eggs
- 1 cup of cheese, grated
- 1 onion, diced
- 1 bell pepper, diced
- 1 cup of pasta
- Salt, to taste
- 2 tomatoes, diced
Instructions:
1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (180°C).
2. In a large skillet, sauté the minced garlic in some olive oil until fragrant.
3. Add the diced onion and bell pepper to the skillet and cook until softened.
4. Stir in the cooked chicken and diced tomatoes, and cook for a few minutes.
5. In a separate pot, cook the rice and pasta according to package instructions.
6. In a mixing bowl, beat the eggs and mix in the grated cheese.
7. Combine the cooked rice, pasta, and chicken mixture with the egg and cheese mixture. Season with salt to taste.
8. Transfer the mixture to a baking dish and bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the top is golden and bubbly.
