Make Cheesy Chicken and Vegetable Casserole
Recipe: Cheesy Chicken and Vegetable Casserole
Ingredients:
- 1 cup rice
- 1 lb chicken, diced
- 1 onion, chopped
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tomato, diced
- 1 cup pasta
- 1 cup cheese, shredded
- 2 potatoes, diced
- 1 cup beans
- 1 cup peas
- 1 cup cauliflower florets
- 1/4 cup sunflower oil
- 1 cup cornflakes
- 1 cup sauce of your choice
Instructions:
1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
2. Cook the rice according to package instructions and set aside.
3. In a large skillet, heat the sunflower oil over medium heat. Add the diced chicken and cook until browned.
4. Add the chopped onion and minced garlic to the skillet and cook until the onion is translucent.
5. Stir in the diced tomato, pasta, potatoes, beans, peas, and cauliflower. Cook for about 5 minutes until the vegetables are slightly tender.
6. Pour in the sauce of your choice and mix well to combine all the ingredients.
7. Transfer the mixture to a baking dish and spread it out evenly.
8. Sprinkle the shredded cheese on top of the mixture.
9. Crush the cornflakes and sprinkle them over the cheese layer.
10. Cover the baking dish with foil and bake in the preheated oven for 30 minutes.
11. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 10 minutes until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
12. Serve the cheesy chicken and vegetable casserole hot and enjoy!
