Recipe Name: Cheesy Onion Omelette

Ingredients:
- 2 eggs
- 1/4 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or any cheese of your choice)
- 1/4 cup diced onion
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 tablespoon butter or oil for cooking

Instructions:

1. Crack the eggs into a bowl and beat them well with a fork or whisk until they are fully combined.

2. Heat the butter or oil in a non-stick skillet over medium heat.

3. Add the diced onion to the skillet and sauté for 2-3 minutes until they are translucent and fragrant.

4. Pour the beaten eggs over the sautéed onions in the skillet.

5. Allow the eggs to cook for a minute or two until the edges start to set.

6. Sprinkle the shredded cheese evenly over one half of the omelette.

7. Using a spatula, carefully fold the other half of the omelette over the cheese side.

8. Cook for another minute or until the cheese is melted and the eggs are fully cooked.

9. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

10. Slide the omelette onto a plate and serve hot.
