Recipe Name: Cheesy Tomato Rice
Ingredients:
- 1 cup rice
- 2 cups water
- Salt
- Pepper
- 2 cloves of garlic, minced
- 2 eggs
- 1 cup shredded cheese
- 1 tomato, diced
- 1/2 cup pasta
- 1/4 cup flour
Instructions:
1. In a pot, bring 2 cups of water to a boil. Add the rice, a pinch of salt, and cook according to package instructions.
2. In a separate pan, cook the pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
3. In a bowl, whisk together the eggs, minced garlic, salt, and pepper.
4. Heat a pan over medium heat and pour the egg mixture into the pan. Cook until scrambled and set aside.
5. In the same pan, add the diced tomato and cook until softened.
6. Add the cooked rice, pasta, and scrambled eggs to the pan with the tomatoes. Mix well.
7. Sprinkle the shredded cheese over the mixture and stir until melted.
8. In a small pan, heat the flour until golden brown to make a roux. Add to the rice mixture and stir well.
9. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
