Make Chicken and Rice Casserole
Recipe Name: Chicken and Rice Casserole
Ingredients:
- 1 cup of rice
- 1 lb of chicken breast, diced
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 cloves of garlic, minced
- 1 bell pepper, diced
- 1 can of diced tomatoes
- 1 cup of chicken broth
- 1 tsp of paprika
- 1 tsp of dried thyme
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 cup of shredded cheese
Instructions:
1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
2. In a large skillet, heat some oil over medium heat and sauté the onion, garlic, and bell pepper until softened.
3. Add the diced chicken to the skillet and cook until browned on all sides.
4. Stir in the rice, diced tomatoes, chicken broth, paprika, thyme, salt, and pepper. Bring to a simmer.
5. Transfer the mixture to a casserole dish and cover with foil.
6. Bake in the preheated oven for 25 minutes.
7. Remove the foil, sprinkle the shredded cheese on top, and bake for an additional 10 minutes or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
