Make Chicken and Rice Casserole
Recipe Name: Chicken and Rice Casserole
Ingredients:
- 1 lb chicken breast, cubed
- 1 cup white rice
- 1 onion, diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 bell pepper, diced
- 1 can diced tomatoes
- 2 cups chicken broth
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1 tsp dried thyme
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 cup shredded cheese
Instructions:
1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
2. In a large skillet, heat some oil over medium heat. Add the chicken and cook until browned on all sides.
3. Add the onion, garlic, and bell pepper to the skillet. Cook until the vegetables are softened.
4. Stir in the rice, diced tomatoes, chicken broth, paprika, thyme, salt, and pepper. Bring the mixture to a simmer.
5. Transfer the mixture to a casserole dish and cover with foil.
6. Bake in the preheated oven for 25 minutes.
7. Remove the foil, sprinkle the shredded cheese on top, and bake for an additional 10 minutes or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
8. Serve hot and enjoy!
