Chicken Parmesan Stromboli
Ingredients:
-4 chicken tenders, cooked and diced
-4 ounces of salami, thinly sliced
-4 ounces of pepperoni, thinly sliced
-4 ounces of Pepper Jack cheese, shredded
-1/2 cup of marinara sauce
-1/2 teaspoon of garlic powder
-1/2 teaspoon of Italian seasoning
-1/4 teaspoon of red pepper flakes (optional)
-1/2 teaspoon of salt
-1/4 teaspoon of black pepper
-1/4 cup of olive oil
-1/2 cup of all-purpose flour
-1/2 cup of warm water
-1 tablespoon of sugar
-1 teaspoon of active dry yeast
-1/2 teaspoon of salt
Instructions:
1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees F.
2. In a large bowl, mix together the flour, sugar, yeast, and salt.
3. Slowly add the warm water and olive oil, stirring until a dough forms.
4. Knead the dough for 5 minutes on a lightly floured surface.
5. Place the dough in a greased bowl and cover with a damp cloth. Let the dough rise for 1 hour.
6. Once the dough has risen, roll it out on a lightly floured surface into a 12-inch circle.
7. Spread the marinara sauce over the dough, leaving a 1-inch border.
8. Sprinkle the garlic powder, Italian seasoning, red pepper flakes, salt, and black pepper over the sauce.
9. Top with the diced chicken, salami, pepperoni, and Pepper Jack cheese.
10. Fold the edges of the dough over the filling and pinch to seal.
11. Place the stromboli on a greased baking sheet and bake for 25-30 minutes, or until golden brown.
12. Let cool for 10 minutes before slicing and serving. Enjoy!
