Make Chicken Tomato Pasta
Chicken Tomato Pasta
Ingredients:
- 2 chicken breasts, cut into cubes
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 can (14.5 ounces) diced tomatoes
- 2 tablespoons tomato paste
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 2 cups uncooked penne pasta
- 1/4 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
Instructions:
1. Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the chicken cubes and cook until golden brown, about 5 minutes.
2. Add the onion and garlic and cook until the onion is softened, about 5 minutes.
3. Stir in the diced tomatoes, tomato paste, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Simmer for 10 minutes.
4. Meanwhile, bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the penne pasta and cook until al dente, about 10 minutes.
5. Drain the pasta and add it to the skillet with the chicken and tomato sauce. Stir to combine.
6. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese and serve. Enjoy!
