Recipe Name: Chocolate Chip Banana Muffins

Ingredients:
- 2 ripe frozen bananas, thawed
- 1 package of banana muffin mix
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup chocolate chips

Step-by-Step Guide:

1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a muffin tin with paper liners or lightly grease the cups.

2. In a large mixing bowl, mash the thawed bananas until smooth. If there are any lumps, you can use a blender or food processor to puree them.

3. Add the banana muffin mix, all-purpose flour, eggs, vanilla extract, milk, granulated sugar, brown sugar, baking soda, baking powder, and salt to the bowl with the mashed bananas. Mix well until all the ingredients are combined and the batter is smooth.

4. Gently fold in the chocolate chips into the batter until evenly distributed.

5. Spoon the batter into the prepared muffin tin, filling each cup about 2/3 full.

6. Place the muffin tin in the preheated oven and bake for 18-20 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center of a muffin comes out clean.

7. Once baked, remove the muffins from the oven and let them cool in the tin for 5 minutes. Then transfer them to a wire rack to cool completely.

8. Serve the chocolate chip banana muffins as a delicious breakfast treat or snack. Enjoy!

Note: These muffins can be stored in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days, or in the refrigerator for up to a week. They can also be frozen for longer storage.
