Chocolate Chip Cheesecake Bars
Ingredients:
-1/2 cup butter, melted
-1/2 cup graham cracker crumbs
-1/4 cup sugar
-1/4 cup brown sugar
-1/2 cup flour
-1/4 teaspoon baking powder
-1/4 teaspoon baking soda
-1/4 teaspoon salt
-1/2 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
-1/2 cup heavy cream
-1/2 cup baking chocolate, chopped
-1 package (8 ounces) cream cheese, softened
-1/4 cup powdered sugar
-1/4 cup Crisco
-1/4 cup powdered milk
-1/4 cup evaporated milk
-1/4 cup sweetened condensed milk
-1/2 teaspoon yeast
-1 sheet puff pastry, thawed
Instructions:
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Grease an 8-inch square baking pan with butter.
2. In a medium bowl, combine melted butter, graham cracker crumbs, sugar, brown sugar, flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. Stir until well combined. Press mixture into the prepared pan and bake for 10 minutes.
3. In a small bowl, combine heavy cream, baking chocolate, and cream cheese. Microwave for 1 minute, stirring every 30 seconds until melted and smooth.
4. In a medium bowl, combine powdered sugar, Crisco, powdered milk, evaporated milk, sweetened condensed milk, and yeast. Beat until light and fluffy.
5. Spread cream cheese mixture over the graham cracker crust. Top with the powdered sugar mixture.
6. Cut the puff pastry into 1-inch strips and arrange on top of the cream cheese mixture. Sprinkle with chocolate chips.
7. Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and the center is set. Allow to cool completely before cutting into bars. Enjoy!
