cilantro
Nopal and Tomato Sauté
Ingredients:
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 small onion, diced
- 1 jalapeno, diced
- 2 cups diced nopal
- 2 cups diced tomato
- 2 tablespoons chopped cilantro
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions:
1. Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
2. Add the onion and jalapeno and cook, stirring occasionally, until the onion is softened and lightly browned, about 5 minutes.
3. Add the nopal and cook, stirring occasionally, until the nopal is lightly browned, about 5 minutes.
4. Add the tomato and cook, stirring occasionally, until the tomato is softened, about 5 minutes.
5. Stir in the cilantro and season with salt and pepper to taste.
6. Serve warm. Enjoy!
