Make Cinnamon Sugar Churros
Recipe Name: Cinnamon Sugar Churros
Ingredients:
- 1 cup harina
- 1 cup leche
- 1 huevo
- 1 tsp polvo de hornear
- 1/4 cup azucar
- 1 tsp canela
Instructions:
1. In a saucepan, heat the leche and 1/4 cup of azucar over medium heat until it starts to simmer.
2. Remove from heat and stir in the harina until well combined to form a dough.
3. Add the huevo and mix until fully incorporated.
4. Transfer the dough to a piping bag fitted with a star tip.
5. In a separate bowl, mix together the remaining azucar and canela.
6. Heat oil in a deep pan for frying.
7. Pipe the dough into the hot oil, cutting it with a knife or scissors to the desired length.
8. Fry the churros until golden brown, then remove and drain on paper towels.
9. Roll the churros in the canela sugar mixture until coated.
