Make Classic Beef Burger

Recipe Name: Classic Beef Burger

Ingredients:
- 1/2 lb ground beef
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/4 teaspoon onion powder
- 2 hamburger buns
- Optional toppings: lettuce, tomato, onion, cheese, ketchup, mustard

Instructions:
1. In a mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder. Use your hands to gently mix the seasonings into the beef, being careful not to overwork the meat.
2. Divide the seasoned ground beef into two equal portions and shape each portion into a patty, about 1/2 inch thick.
3. Preheat a grill or skillet over medium-high heat. If using a skillet, add a little oil to prevent sticking.
4. Place the beef patties on the grill or skillet and cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until the internal temperature reaches 160°F (71°C) for medium doneness.
5. While the patties are cooking, toast the hamburger buns on the grill or in a toaster until lightly golden brown.
6. Once the beef patties are cooked to your liking, remove them from the heat and let them rest for a few minutes.
7. Assemble your burgers by placing a beef patty on the bottom half of each toasted bun. Add your favorite toppings such as lettuce, tomato, onion, cheese, ketchup, and mustard.
8. Top with the other half of the bun and serve your delicious classic beef burgers hot.

Enjoy your homemade classic beef burgers!
