Recipe Name: Classic Pancakes

Ingredients:
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 1 egg
- 1 cup milk
- 2 tablespoons butter, melted
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt

Instructions:
1. In a mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
2. In a separate bowl, beat the egg and then stir in the milk and melted butter.
3. Gradually add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients, stirring until just combined. Do not overmix; it's okay if the batter is a little lumpy.
4. Heat a non-stick skillet or griddle over medium heat and lightly grease with butter or cooking spray.
5. Pour 1/4 cup of batter onto the skillet for each pancake.
6. Cook until bubbles form on the surface of the pancake, then flip and cook for another minute or until golden brown.
7. Repeat with the remaining batter.
8. Serve the pancakes warm with your favorite toppings such as maple syrup, fresh fruits, or whipped cream.
