Make Crab and Salmon Orzo
Crab and Salmon Orzo
Ingredients:
- 1 lb wild caught salmon, cut into cubes
- 1/2 lb lump crab meat
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 cup parmesan cheese, grated
- 4 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1 teaspoon old bay seasoning
- 2 whole bell peppers, diced
- 2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
- 1 teaspoon granulated onion
- 1 cup chopped spinach
- 1 cup orzo
- 2 tablespoons parsley, chopped
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 1/2 lemon, juiced
- 1/2 cup water
- 1 egg, beaten
Instructions:
1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees F.
2. In a large bowl, combine the salmon cubes, crab meat, heavy cream, garlic, parmesan cheese, cream cheese, old bay seasoning, bell peppers, olive oil, granulated onion, spinach, and parsley. Mix until all ingredients are evenly distributed.
3. In a separate bowl, combine the orzo, smoked paprika, lemon juice, water, and egg. Mix until all ingredients are evenly distributed.
4. Grease a 9x13 baking dish with olive oil.
5. Spread the orzo mixture in the bottom of the baking dish.
6. Top with the salmon and crab mixture.
7. Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the orzo is cooked through and the salmon is cooked to your desired doneness.
8. Serve hot, garnished with parsley and lemon wedges. Enjoy!
