Ingredients:
- 2 steaks (your choice of cut)
- 1 onion, sliced
- 2 tomatoes, diced
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 tbsp oil
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1/4 cup heavy cream
Instructions:
1. Season the steaks with salt and pepper on both sides.
2. In a skillet, heat the oil over medium-high heat.
3. Add the steaks to the skillet and cook to your desired level of doneness. Remove the steaks from the skillet and set aside.
4. In the same skillet, add the sliced onions and cook until they are soft and translucent.
5. Add the diced tomatoes to the skillet and cook until they start to break down.
6. Pour in the milk and heavy cream, stirring to combine.
7. Season the sauce with salt and pepper to taste.
8. Return the steaks to the skillet, spooning the creamy tomato and onion sauce over the top.
9. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes to heat everything through.
