Ingredients:
- 250g pasta of your choice
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
- 2 cups milk
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Optional: cooked chicken, vegetables, or shrimp for added protein and flavor

Instructions:
1. Cook the pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
2. In a large saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat.
3. Add the flour to the melted butter and whisk continuously for about 2 minutes to make a roux.
4. Slowly pour in the milk while whisking constantly to avoid lumps.
