Mutton Curry
Ingredients:
- 1/2 kg mutton
- 1 large onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 inch ginger, minced
- 1 large tomato, chopped
- 1 green pepper, chopped
- 1 teaspoon cumin powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
Instructions:
1. Heat the oil in a large pot over medium-high heat.
2. Add the onion and sauté until it is softened and lightly browned.
3. Add the garlic and ginger and sauté for another minute.
4. Add the tomato, green pepper, cumin powder, and salt. Stir to combine.
5. Add the mutton and stir to coat in the spices.
6. Cover the pot and reduce the heat to low. Simmer for 45 minutes, stirring occasionally.
7. Uncover the pot and increase the heat to medium-high. Cook for an additional 10 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the sauce has thickened and the mutton is cooked through.
8. Serve with steamed rice or naan. Enjoy!
