Date Syrup
Ingredients:
- 1 cup dates, pitted and chopped
- 1 cup water
- 1 teaspoon vanilla powder
- 2 tablespoons sugar
Instructions:
1. In a medium saucepan, combine the dates, water, and vanilla powder.
2. Bring the mixture to a boil over medium-high heat, stirring occasionally.
3. Reduce the heat to low and simmer for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
4. Remove the saucepan from the heat and stir in the sugar.
5. Transfer the mixture to a blender or food processor and blend until smooth.
6. Pour the date syrup into a jar and store in the refrigerator for up to 2 weeks.
