Mussels in Creamy Chili Sauce
Ingredients:
- 2 lbs mussels, scrubbed and de-bearded
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon chili flakes
- 1/2 cup white wine
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 pound cooked pasta
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions:
1. Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
2. Add the garlic and chili flakes and cook for 1 minute.
3. Add the mussels and white wine and cook for 3-4 minutes, until the mussels open.
4. Discard any mussels that do not open.
5. Add the heavy cream and bring to a simmer.
6. Add the cooked pasta and stir to combine.
7. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
8. Serve hot. Enjoy!
