Steak and Lardon Pates

Ingredients:

- 2 tablespoons of lardons
- 2 steaks
- 1/2 cup of pitted olives
- 1/2 cup of créme fraîche
- 2 packages of pates

Instructions:

1. Preheat the oven to 350°F.

2. Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat and add the lardons. Cook for about 5 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the lardons are golden brown and crispy.

3. Season the steaks with salt and pepper and add them to the skillet. Cook for about 4 minutes per side, or until the steaks are cooked to your desired doneness.

4. Transfer the steaks to a plate and set aside.

5. In the same skillet, add the olives and cook for about 2 minutes, stirring occasionally.

6. Add the créme fraîche and stir to combine.

7. Grease a 9x13 inch baking dish with cooking spray and spread the pates in the bottom.

8. Top the pates with the steak and lardon mixture and spread the olives and créme fraîche over the top.

9. Bake for 20 minutes, or until the pates are golden brown and the steak is cooked through.

10. Serve warm and enjoy!
