Fried Rice Recipe
Ingredients:
- 2 cups cooked rice
- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
- 1 small onion, diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 carrot, diced
- 1/2 cup frozen peas
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Green onions, chopped for garnish
Instructions:
1. Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium heat.
2. Add diced onion and minced garlic, sauté until fragrant.
3. Add diced carrot and frozen peas, cook until vegetables are tender.
4. Push the vegetables to one side of the skillet and pour the beaten eggs into the other side. Scramble the eggs until cooked through.
5. Add cooked rice to the skillet and stir to combine with the vegetables and eggs.
6. Pour soy sauce over the rice mixture and stir well to evenly distribute.
7. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
8. Cook for another 2-3 minutes, stirring occasionally.
9. Remove from heat and garnish with chopped green onions before serving.
