Fried Rice with Green Spices
Ingredients:
- 2 cups cooked white rice
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1/2 cup diced onion
- 1/2 cup diced bell pepper
- 1/2 cup diced carrots
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon fresh ginger, minced
- 1 teaspoon ground cumin
- 1 teaspoon ground coriander
- 1/2 teaspoon ground turmeric
- 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh cilantro
- Salt and pepper, to taste
Instructions:
1. Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
2. Add the onion, bell pepper, and carrots and cook for 3-4 minutes, stirring occasionally.
3. Add the garlic, ginger, cumin, coriander, turmeric, and cayenne pepper and cook for 1 minute, stirring constantly.
4. Add the cooked rice and stir to combine.
5. Cook for 3-4 minutes, stirring occasionally.
6. Add the cilantro, salt, and pepper and stir to combine.
7. Cook for 1-2 minutes, stirring occasionally.
8. Serve hot. Enjoy!
