Garlic and Herb Focaccia Bread
Ingredients:
- 2 cups of plain flour
- 2 teaspoons of active dry yeast
- 1 teaspoon of salt
- 1 cup of warm water
- 2 tablespoons of olive oil
- 2 cloves of garlic, minced
Instructions:
1. In a large bowl, combine the flour, yeast, and salt.
2. Add the warm water and olive oil and mix until a dough forms.
3. Knead the dough for 5 minutes, or until it is smooth and elastic.
4. Place the dough in a greased bowl and cover with a damp cloth. Let the dough rise for 1 hour.
5. Preheat the oven to 375°F.
6. Punch down the dough and roll it out onto a greased baking sheet.
7. Sprinkle the minced garlic over the dough and press it in with your fingers.
8. Bake the focaccia for 20-25 minutes, or until golden brown.
9. Let the focaccia cool before slicing and serving. Enjoy!
