Recipe Name: Garlic Chicken
Ingredients:
- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 4 cloves of garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 teaspoon dried thyme
- 1/2 cup chicken broth
- 1 tablespoon butter
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions:
1. Season the chicken breasts with salt, pepper, and dried thyme on both sides.
2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat.
3. Add the seasoned chicken breasts to the skillet and cook for about 6-7 minutes on each side or until fully cooked and golden brown. Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.
4. In the same skillet, add minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
5. Pour in the chicken broth and scrape up any browned bits from the bottom of the skillet.
6. Stir in the butter until melted and well combined with the broth.
7. Return the cooked chicken breasts to the skillet, spooning the garlic butter sauce over the top.
8. Let the chicken simmer in the sauce for another 2-3 minutes.
9. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
10. Serve the garlic chicken hot with your favorite side dishes. Enjoy!
