Green Bean and Egg Casserole
Ingredients:
- 2 cups of fresh green beans, trimmed and cut into 1-inch pieces
- 4 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon of freshly ground black pepper
- 1 teaspoon of salt
- 1 teaspoon of dried basil
- 1 teaspoon of paprika
- 1 cup of shredded cheddar cheese
- ½ cup of bacon bits
- 2 tablespoons of butter
Instructions:
1. Preheat oven to 350°F.
2. Grease a 9-inch baking dish with butter.
3. In a large bowl, combine the green beans, eggs, pepper, salt, basil, and paprika. Mix until ingredients are evenly distributed.
4. Pour the mixture into the prepared baking dish.
5. Sprinkle the cheddar cheese and bacon bits over the top of the casserole.
6. Dot the top of the casserole with the butter.
7. Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the eggs are set and the cheese is melted and bubbly.
8. Serve warm. Enjoy!
